

Beyond the café and bar-and-lounge area lies Aquavit’s main dining room, where Executive Chef Marcus Jernmark offer fresh takes on contemporary Scandinavian cuisine. We offer an a la carte menu for lunch and prix fixe and tasting menus for both lunch and dinner in the dining room.
The dining room’s soft elegant atmosphere is a result of the unique synthesis of works by Scandinavian designers such as Poul Kjaerholm and Bruno Mathsson. If it’s privacy you’re after, request a booth- a perfect place for an urbane tête à tête.
Jackets are preferred in the dining room, but if you care for a less formal experience, join us in our more casual café, where we serve an a la carte menu of such traditional Scandinavian favorites such as Swedish meatballs, gravlax and herring.
Chef Jernmark will be cooking an Autumn Nordic Table menu at the James Beard House.
