Starting with engagement parties and bridal showers, Restaurant Aquavit provides the simple elegance to inaugurate the wedding festivities.

Every year, couples arrive from abroad and seize the opportunity to marry in New York City. With a small entourage of family and friends, Restaurant Aquavit is a perfect destination for an intimate wedding repast.

For those whose wedding night is the highlight of an entire weekend of festivities, Aquavit can be your go-to place for a deft rehearsal dinner or a restorative morning-after breakfast or brunch. Our celebrated Sunday smorgasbord is a great, informal way to say one last “thank you and bon voyage.”

WINE EVENTS

The last few years has led to a rapid expansion of our wine holdings and events featuring unusual wine makers and emerging wine regions from around the world. Partnering with such groups as The Wine Workshop of Acker, Merrill & Condit, The Italian Wine Merchants, and various importers, we have hosted notable dinners for Chateau Rayas, Maison Louis Jadot, López de Heredia, and introduced a wide range of wines from South Africa. This year, we will offer winery tastings to our clients which are usually restricted to professional wine buyers. These will be followed by dinners featuring these same vineyards.
